Olton WMnow Update

Good morning everyone,
We hope you are all well and have enjoyed the weekend. Here is your update for the area since our last message.
 

Crime Update:
A theft from motor vehicle has taken place on Warwick Road on the night of the 6th of February whereby unknown offenders have gained entry to a locked and secure Fiat 500 and stolen a handbag from inside the car. Lines of enquires are still being explored.
 

There has been a residential burglary on Gospel Lane on the afternoon of the 7th of February. An unknown offender has forced open a ground floor window and gained entry to the address but was disturbed and fled the address without taking anything. Further enquires are ongoing.
 

Good News:
The team conducted a drugs warrant at an address in Olton this week following intelligence received from local residents. During a search of the address, a quantity of class B drugs were found and seized. 
 

The team have also been conducting patrols in our hotspot areas, proactively looking for vehicles and offenders that are linked to committing crime on our area. We will continue with patrols to make your area as safe as possible. Please report any suspicious behaviour via 101 or online on the WMP website. This will assist us greatly in coordinating our daily patrols.
