CRIME UPDATES |

Dear residents of LYNDON,
These are the crime updates in the Lyndon area between 7th of FEBRUARY 2026- 15th of FEBRUARY 2026
BURGLARY
GREEN ACRES CLOSE-There was an attempted burglary. The occupant was woken up by noise and have seen one suspect trying the door handle and another one holding a screwdriver. Both suspects have been apprehended by the police and arrested.
WELLS GREEN ROAD- Unknown suspects have broken in to a property by breaking the front door lock. Suspects have searched the address and have taken the keys to a BMW and some cash. They have stolen the vehicle.
VEHICLE CRIME
LYNDON ROAD- Unknown suspects have smashed the rear window of two vehicles, a DACIA and FORD.
WAGON LANE- Unknown suspects have stolen items from inside a vehicle such as headphones and possibly other items. It is not known whether the vehicle was locked and secured nor how the suspects have gained access to the vehicle; however, a messy search was conducted.
BARRINGTON ROAD-Unknown suspects have accessed an AUDI by unknown means and have stolen a handbag, which was empty. The handbag was found thrown away.
ON A POSITIVE SIDE We continue to work closely with the shops in LYNDON AREA so that we can catch and prosecute suspects committing shop theft. We have identified a few more shoplifters which have been charged with shop theft and will be sent to court.
We continue to work closely with our partner agencies and conducted other joint visits with SOLIHULL HOUSING ASSOCIATION targeting Anti-social behaviour in LYNDON area.
We have continued our proactive patrols in the area targeting Anti-Social Behaviour, drug hot spots and burglary/vehicle crime and looking for vehicles and suspects that are linked to committing crime in our area.
The team conducted a drug warrant at an address in OLTON, whereby class B drugs were found and seized.
