Theft of Moped

Hi,

Please be aware there have been 2 thefts of mopeds nearby in the last couple of days.

The two incidents occurred sometime between evening of 13th February and early hours of 14th February in Maybank Avenue and Rosebank Avenue. 

Good news, both mopeds found and recovered to the owners yesterday. One found in Ruislip and the other very local.

Crime prevention measures for owners of mopeds where appropriate;

Alarm system.

Installation of tracker device.

Keeping Motorcycle / Moped out of public view.

Keeping Motorcycle / Moped in secure garage / out building. 

Keeping Motorcycle / Moped within secure gated area.

Using substantial chain & lock to secure Motorcycle / Moped to an immovable object or consider Installing a ground / wall mounted anchor lock.
