Earlier this week during a joint operation with our partner agencies and colleagues from Roads Policing Unit, officers from Creswell SNT spotted a vehicle that brought itself to their attention, and it subsequently failed to stop when required.
Thanks to local knowledge and the professionalism and high standards of our colleagues from Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit, the vehicle was brought to a stop.
The driver then attempted to run from officers, but didn’t get very far. He was quickly detained following a short foot chase by our traffic officer.
The driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop, and other related offences. The vehicle has been seized.
