Foot patrol (14/02/2026)

Open space patrols to monitor ASB, as well as providing general reassurance, were on the agenda for Rick and Lee today (7.56 miles).

Visiting the Eastbrookend Country Park and Nature Reserve (p), including Bardag and Hooks Hall Pond, it was past the riding school and onto Eastbrook Drive (11.32am).

All of Parish Fields was covered (11.48pm, p), followed by Harveys Lane and Thorntons Farm Avenue.

Central Park (1.01pm, p) was next, where 1.4 miles was covered, which included a check-in at the Pitch 'n' Putt. The playgrounds were also visited where Rick and Lee were bombarded by questions on what it's like working for the police, including, "Why do you have a beard?" and “Do you eat dinner?”
