Concerns Of School Fights |
Dear residents of Hackney Downs & Hackney Central, As you may be aware, there were reports of planned fights expected to take place after school hours between students from various schools across the borough of Hackney. In response, several officers and PCSOs were deployed to the locations where these incidents were rumoured to occur. I’m pleased to confirm that no fights were observed by officers, nor were any incidents reported by members of the public. As we head into the half‑term break, I want to encourage everyone to make the most of the time off and enjoy it with family and friends. Half term is a great opportunity to relax, explore, and have fun, but it’s also important to stay mindful of personal safety. I kindly remind all residents especially children and young people to stay aware of their surroundings when out and about. Whether going to the park, visiting friends, or taking part in activities, please take simple precautions: stay with people you trust, keep your phones charged, plan your routes, and let someone know where you’re going. By looking out for one another, we can help ensure that everyone has a safe, positive, and enjoyable half‑term break.
Happy half term!! | ||
