Appeal following burglary in Hitchin |

Police are appealing for information, CCTV and witnesses following a burglary in Hitchin. It happened in Whitehill Road at around 8.30pm on Saturday 7 February. Two males gained access to a home via the rear of the property. They conducted a search of the home before leaving. Nothing was stolen. Investigating officer Fran Aylin said: “The occupant was at home whilst this burglary took place, which was of course could have been very frightening. I am appealing for witnesses who may have seen two males acting suspiciously between 8pm and 9.30pm on Whitehill Road.
