Hitchin Neighbourhood Policing Team - Proactive Patrol Summary |
||
|
Dear Resident The Hitchin Neighbourhood Policing Team were out earlier this week focussing on the neighbourhood priorities for the area. Local policing priorities are set every four months, providing a specific focus on the issues that residents have raised through surveys, alongside an analysis of data. 🔹 HGV Load Checks – Grove Road We monitored Grove Road for HGVs with insecure loads. During the period we were present, no issues were identified. 🔹 E‑Scooter Patrols – Hitchin Town Centre Officers conducted high‑visibility patrols around the town centre to target illegal e‑scooter use. On this occasion, no offences were observed. 🔹 Speed Enforcement – London Road Speed checks were carried out on London Road. One driver was found travelling at 33mph in a 30mph zone and was stopped and spoken to about their speed. We will continue to be out across Hitchin addressing community concerns and keeping our roads and public spaces safe. 🔗 You can see what issues residents are raising in your local area by visiting: https://hertsconnected.co.uk/Content/AllLocalAreas
