Good Morning
I hope you are all well and getting used to the constant rain, I’m convinced it only starts when I leave work on my bike and ends when I get home!
Bike Marking Bike marking is back for its monthly event. Bike marking is a great product where we mark your bike, frame number and all other details and we put it on a database to try and prevent the theft of your bike. It helps the police be able to identify if a bike has been stolen or not so worth getting it done. This time, we’re heading to Raynes Park and with the weather we’ve been having we’ll probably be hiding under the tunnel between both entrances staying dry. Again, we’ll be there early from 07:30-09:30am. It doesn’t take long at all, so if you can get there five minutes early, I’ll be waiting.
LGBQT+ History Month Next Tuesday on the 17th Merton Plus will be giving their main event talk of the month “Our Stories, Our History”. Four story tellers will share their personal stories from around the world, from Merton to the Middle East and Hawaii. They will start at 7pm at Wimbledon Library. Tickets are only £5. They will also be hosting their monthly brunchtime social at Pawelek in Mitcham tomorrow 14th Feb at 110:-12:30.
Lunch at Merton College If you’re looking for an affordable lunch look no further than Merton College. Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they offer a three-course meal cooked by there Hospitality and Catering students. They offer a fantastic service at very cheap rates. There’s few dates left this term so please get booking quickly.
