The John Godber Centre, Ogle Street, Hucknall, NG15 7FQ on Tuesday 24 February 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Bike Marking Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be at Hucknall High Street on Sunday 22 February at 10:00 until 12:00 hours, for a Bike Marking and Crime prevention event. We are able to mark not only bikes, but also any wheelchairs or mobility scooters that have a serial number on the frame.
Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Around 6.24pm on Sunday 8 February in Shelton Avenue, Hucknall, a house was entered through an unlocked front door and keys to a van were taken from the kitchen by a thief, wearing black clothing and a balaclava, who arrived on an electric scooter. The keys were used to take a white Ford Tipper van. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Around 9.45pm on Thursday 5 February at The Royal British Legion Club, Beardall Street, Hucknall, a white Vauxhall Combo 2300 van was stolen from the car park. It was later found with damage to the drivers door and ignition. Between midnight and 9.14am on Saturday 7 February in Victoria Way, Hucknall, a blue Renault Traffic sport van, with ‘Mr Small Job Plumbing’ on it, was stolen. It was recovered but the power tools that were inside had been stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft At 5.32pm on Wednesday 11 February at Hucknall Train Station, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, two male teenagers dressed in dark clothing stole a foldable pushbike from the train as they got off at Hucknall. Violence against the Person At 6.27pm on Friday 6 February at Tesco Extra, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, the caller was walking through the car park when a car came up behind and beeped its horn and the passenger started shouting at the caller. The passenger, a white male, around 40 years old, bald and wearing a white shirt got out of the white Fiat car and grabbed the caller by his jacket and lifted him up and continued shouting and put his finger up. Criminal Damage Around 8.20pm on Saturday 7 February at McDonald’s Restaurant, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, damage was caused to the children’s play area by a white male, tall, slim build, dark hair, wearing a black coat and blue joggers. He was one of a group of six, 15/16 year old males and females. At 7.00pm on Monday 9 February at the Lidl Store, Watnall Road, Hucknall, the back window of a car being parked was smashed, possibly caused by a pellet. ASB At 4.00pm on Friday 6 February at B & M Retail, Chapel Street, High Street, Hucknall, a group of youths, subject to a banning order, entered the store and customers were complaining about being verbally abused. At 8.31pm on Friday 6 February at Tesco Extra, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, eight teenagers were riding trolleys and screaming and shouting inside the store making customers feel uncomfortable. They left, heading towards the High Street. At 6.27pm on Saturday 7 February in High Street, Hucknall, a group of16/18 year old white males and females were kicking on doors. Most had their faces covered by hoods.
