Drugs Warrant executed |
||
|
Four have been arrested after the Scunthorpe Town Neighbourhood Policing Team, alongside officers from our Kinetic Intervention Team, executed a warrant at a property on the Market Hill Estate in Scunthorpe Town Centre yesterday (Tuesday, 10 February 2026).
Also present were representatives from ONGO and North Lincolnshire Council Safer Neighbourhoods Team as officers forced entry into the address, and three men and a woman were located inside. A quantity of what are believed to be class A drugs were subsequently seized from the address, and all four individuals were swiftly detained on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. The four arrested have since been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
The Section 8 Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) warrant was authorised as a result of information gathered from local residents and partners, showing the importance of reporting any concerns or suspicions around drug use in your area.
Whilst you may not always see immediate action, we want to reassure you that the information you provide allows officers to build the bigger picture around offending, gathering evidence to allow the teams to execute warrants like this. We would encourage anyone with any information to please speak to your local officers when you see them out and about, or by calling our non-emergency number 101. Always call 999 in an emergency or if you witness a crime in action. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. | ||
