MEN CHARGED WITH DRUGS OFFENCES |

Two men have been charged after we seized more than two-and-a-half kilogrammes of cocaine and cannabis in Tamworth. Zak Oliver Clark, 31, from Tamworth, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of a class A drug (cocaine), being concerned in the supply of a class B drug (cannabis), possession with intent to supply a class A drug (cocaine), possession with intent to supply a class B drug (cannabis), producing a class B drug (cannabis), acquiring/using/possessing criminal property, perverting the course of justice, four counts of driving whilst disqualified, four counts of using a motor vehicle on a road without insurance, and abstracting electricity. Carl Philip Pearson, 34, from Tamworth, has been charged being concerned in the supply a class A drug (cocaine), being concerned in the supply of a class B drug (cannabis), possession with intent to supply a class A drug (cocaine), and possession with intent to supply a class B drug (cannabis). It comes after our major and organised crime teams carried out warrants in Tamworth on Friday (6 February). Clark and Pearson appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday (7 February), where they were remanded in custody to appear at Stafford Crown Court on Friday 13 March.
