Multiple arrests were made, drugs were recovered and several vehicles were seized as part of an operation to tackle acquisitive crime across West Hertfordshire. The three-day operation, which ran from Tuesday to Thursday last week (3 to 6 February), saw officers from various teams carrying out increased, targeted patrols throughout the evening and early hours. Over the three days: Neighbourhood Policing Team PC Joe Geeson, who coordinated the operation, said: “The aim of the operation was to target those involved in serious and acquisitive crime, such as vehicle theft, burglary and drug supply, as we know that these kinds of offences cause concern among the community. “Whether or not we are running a specific police operation, local teams are regularly patrolling, doing all they can to prevent crime and identify offenders.” | ||
