Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On Friday 6th February, a 49 year old male was arrested in the Cambridge Road Estate, KT1 for breaching his Community Behaviour Order (CBO) after a stop and search under s23 Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. The CBO was issued in 2019 in response to the male being convicted of drug supply offences with the aim of preventing further offences being committed. The male has been charged and bailed to attend court later this month.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
