Attempted Burglary Near You - Craigmore Drive, Burley in Wharfedale LS29

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message because you live in the vicinity of an attempted burglary that occurred at 3am on 10/02/2026. This occurred at an address on Craigmore Drive, Burley in Wharfedale. CCTV captured footage of 3 suspects approaching the property and attempting to force the lock on the patio doors. The door lock was damaged but no entry was gained. 

If you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
