Walk and Talk in Crane Park |
Good morning all,
Your local neighbourhood team are joining forces with Richmond Council to run a walk and talk event in Crane park on Sunday 26th April 2026 at 2pm. The main aim of the event is to raise awareness of VAWG (Violence against Women and Girls) issues in areas where women and girls tend to feel unsafe or areas where the public have pointed out to us as being an ASB hotspot. Everyone is welcome and we encourage you to bring your dogs for a good yomp through the park. We will aim to meet at the Ellerman Avenue entrance (Opposite Glassbrooke Avenue) at 2pm and will walk down past the Shot Tower, with the opportunity to stop for a coffee at the wonderful Thirst of All café next to the tower. Although the main focus of the walk will be surrounding VAWG issues, officers will be more than happy to speak about and provide advice on any topic.
Kind regards, Heathfield and Whitton neighbourhood policing team | ||
