Knives and suspected drugs seized and three men arrested |

Knives and suspected drugs were seized and three men were arrested by plain‑clothed neighbourhood policing officers in St Albans on Sunday (8 February).
The men were stopped by officers on proactive routine patrols in at the junction of Mountbatten Close and Cell Barnes Lane at 12.25pm.
A 25-year-old from Watford, was arrested and charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine).
An 18-year-old from Hemel Hempstead was arrested and charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and possession of Class B drugs (cannabis).
A 17-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead was arrested and charged with breach of court bail (curfew breach).
Wraps, believed to be cocaine, were seized.
They appeared at Hatfield Remand Court yesterday (Monday 9 February) and have been given conditional bail.
