Dear Residents, PCSO Sparkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted our first Street Watch, issued CPWs and CPNs. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. We've conducted our first Street Watch which was a great start. We've come a cross a lot of fly-tipping in the area of Hillfields, this is your reminder to take your rubbish to a tip to prevent rodents. This week we have seized a motorbike that was reported stolen, the morning it was recovered., make sure you secure your motor vehicles by using the correct locks to prevent this from happening. We conducted Cuppa with a Coppa event earlier this week at St Peters Church, Charles Street. We had a great number of local residents attend to this, and was great to meet new faces. We handed out crime prevention leaflets and devices. Keep an eye out for our next event and come along to meet your local neighbourhood team. We have been conducting visits at the hotspot locations for anti-social behaviour to disrupt further issues. This has led to CPWs being issued to those causing the issues. ARRESTS: This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 2 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: We have been issuing more CPWs this week to those that have been identified in causing anti-social behaviour in your local neighbourhood. We have also been out issuing CPNs to those that have breached their CPW. We aim to continue to do this to disrupt the unwanted behaviour in your neighbourhood.
