Dear Resident, Police are releasing CCTV images of someone they want to identify after a theft in Hitchin. Between 6.45am and 8.15am on Monday 19 January, a rucksack that contained medication, a wallet, phone and clothes was stolen from a locker at the swimming pool on Fishponds Road. Officers are releasing the CCTV images because they believe the person pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have information to assist the investigation. To view these images, please visit our website link: Do you recognise this person after theft at swimming pool? | Hertfordshire Constabulary If you cannot see the photos, or the link is unavailable, the appeal may have been deleted due to the person being identified. While it’s appreciated that the images are of poor quality, they are being released as officers try all lines of enquiry. If this is you, or you recognise this person, please email Detective Constable Katie Darcy via Katie.Darcy@herts.police.uk. You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/5542/26. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
