Witness and dashcam appeal following fail to stop collision in Bournemouth |

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch following a fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth.
At around 7.45pm on Thursday 5 February 2026, a collision occurred involving a silver car and a pedestrian in Redhill Avenue.
It is reported the car failed to stop at the scene.
The pedestrian, a 17-year-old girl, attended hospital with minor injuries.
Police Constable Rhianna Sly, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Thankfully, the pedestrian in this incident was not seriously injured.
“We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, or was travelling with a dashcam that may have captured relevant footage, to please get in touch.
“I am also appealing to the driver of the vehicle to do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
