I wanted to take a moment to share some important observations I have made during my recent patrols on Heol Nant Glandulas. It has come to my attention that there is a concerning trend among a small minority of individuals who have been speeding along this road.

This behaviour poses a significant risk not only to other motorists but also to pedestrians, particularly those who may be crossing the road. As we all know, safety should be our top priority, and I would like to kindly remind everyone of the importance of adhering to the posted speed limits. 

Speeding is not just a matter of breaking the law; it can lead to dangerous situations that could result in serious accidents. I urge all residents and visitors to be vigilant and considerate while driving in our community.

To address this issue, I will be actively monitoring the area and conducting speed scoping in the coming weeks. My goal is to ensure the safety of all road users, and south Wales police will not hesitate to take appropriate action against any drivers who are found to be exceeding the speed limit.

It's particularly important to consider that there are schools in the vicinity, as well as families walking with children and their pets. I ask that everyone take these factors into account when driving through our neighbourhood.
