Local Priorities Mobile phone theft Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Today we were notified via Met Engage of potential phone snatchers operating in the Olympic Park E20.

As a result of this real time intel we were able to identify, chase and detain two of the phone snatchers.

Showing how Met Engage allows us to respond to these incidents quickly and prevent further robberies & phone snatches.
