As of February 2026, recent alerts focused on the following areas: Recent Crime & Safety Alerts (Feb 2026) Digital Pickpocketing Warning: Police warned of "digital pickpocketing" where scammers use handheld card readers to trigger unauthorised payments from contactless cards in crowded areas like Bentley Bridge Shopping Park and Heath Town Markets. Retail Crime Enforcement: A male was recently charged for multiple shop thefts and bail breaches as part of ongoing operations to deter shoplifting at Bentley Bridge. Illegal Tobacco Raid: On 5 February 2026, Easy Mini Market Ltd on Wednesfield Road (Heath Town) was fined over £16,000 after authorities found thousands of illegal cigarettes and vapes. Off-Road Bike Nuisance: Multi-Agency Road Safety Operations (MARSO) remain active in Wednesfield North and South to identify and seize illegal off-road bikes. Community Priorities & Events Antisocial Behaviour (ASB): High-visibility joint patrols with Wolverhampton Homes are ongoing at The Crossways Shopping Centre and residential blocks in Heath Town to address persistent nuisance.
