Thefts of Volks Wagon badge parking sensors – Northfield

Good morning Northfield residents,

There have been a series of thefts that have taken place across Northfield relating to the Volks Wagon parking sensors being stolen from several vehicles. These thefts have taken place between dates Tuesday 3rd February – Thursday 5th February and have occurred during the early hours of the morning. Suspects were believed to be on lime bikes targeting certain vehicles and making off.

If you have been a victim of this crime or have seen any suspicious activity please report this by calling 101 or reporting online on www.met.police.uk.

Officers have made enquiries into this matter and spoke with all the victims who have reported this crime in Northfield and have provided CCTV of some of the incidents. 

Please be vigilant and if possible install a dash camera to your vehicle to deter such thefts.
