👮‍♀️ Community Safety Engagement – Acton Town Tube & Heathfield Gardens 👮‍♀️

Yesterday evening, our team held a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) engagement event at Acton Town Tube Station.
Officers were on hand to speak with commuters, offer safety advice, listen to concerns, and highlight the work we are doing to make public spaces safer for women and girls. 

We have also been telling people about StreetSafe. StreetSafe is a Home Office initiative that allows you to report safety concerns in public places anonymously. This includes issues like poorly lit streets, abandoned buildings, or vandalism, as well as instances where you feel unsafe due to someone following or verbally abusing you.

Alongside this engagement, we also carried out multiple patrols in Heathfield Gardens following recent reports of increasing anti‑social behaviour in and around the park.

During our patrols we conducted two stop and searches on individuals in the park and removed them from the area.

We will continue our increased presence in Heathfield Gardens to address concerns, deter ASB, and ensure the park remains a safe space for everyone.
