The team wanted to share the good news stories that have occurred in the local area over the last week, following the work the team has been doing. This is the work that the teams of Beckenham Town and Copers Cope, Clock House, Kelsey and Eden Park and Shortlands and Park Langley have been a part of. The team have been bike marking in Panagua bikes, there was many bikes marked. This was an event for all where people could come and get their pedal bikes marked and/or registered, in order to assist with future investigations should they be victims of crime in the future. We will be offering more sessions of this in the future. The Shortlands team alongside the schools’ officers have been to one of the local nurseries to engage with the children. There were opportunities for them to try on uniform and sit in the police vehicles. The Beckenham team have had a focus on the High Street and some of the surrounding roads, dealing with anti-social behaviour occurring in communal areas and open spaces. The teams have been working on a large-scale operation, this work will continue over the next couple of weeks. We are looking forward to sharing some of the positive results when this is concluded. The Kelsey and Eden Park team were in attendance at the MP’s Coffee morning, and had the opportunity to speak with many of the local residents, about what is happening in the area. The teams have been assisting Bromley Response team this week and have completed a number of calls/incidents around the Bromley Borough.
