Burglary Alert!

There have been some residential burglaries along Ivanhoe Road, SE5 recently. 

The suspects appear to get access to the properties through back doors and windows as most targeted properties are adjacent to the train tracks. 

The level of burglaries on Champion Hill Ward is still low, but please use this as an opportunity to increase your own home security, below are some practical solutions. 

1) Lock all windows and doors. 

2) Register the serial numbers of valuables with crime prevention charity www.Immobilise.com it's free and will allow us to return any recovered stolen property. 

3) Consider installing Alarm systems, Cameras and dusk until dawn security lights.
