Dear Resident, Would you like to help make your street or community safer, more connected, and better supported?
We are encouraging residents across Erewash to set up new Neighbourhood Watch schemes — and right now, there is up to £250 funding available per Watch to help you get started. Neighbourhood Watch is one of the simplest and most effective ways to reduce crime, increase safety, and build stronger communities. It brings neighbours together, improves communication, and ensures you are directly connected with your local Safer Neighbourhood Team.
You do not need any previous experience — and you will be fully supported every step of the way. Funding can be used to cover: Official Neighbourhood Watch signage for your streetPosters and postcards to invite residents to joinAwareness materials to help launch your WatchOther resources to support your local schemeWe will help you with everything, including: Setting up your WatchRegistering residentsApplying for the funding on your behalfProviding launch materialsConnecting you with your local police teamOffering ongoing support and guidanceYou can start a Watch for: Your streetYour estateYour villageOr your wider communityIf you act now, you can access the current PCC funding available for Derbyshire — but this is limited and will be allocated on a first-come basis.
