Modern Day Slavery definition UK Modern slavery in the UK is a severe, often hidden crime defined under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 as the exploitation of people for personal or commercial gain, involving coercion, deception, or force. It includes trafficking, servitude, and forced labour, where victims are controlled and stripped of freedom. Common forms involve sexual exploitation, debt bondage, domestic servitude, and forced criminality.
