Local Police Update – Langthorne Park & Surrounding Area

Today your local policing team carried out a weapons sweep in Langthorne Park — no weapons found.

Later, during drugs hotspot patrols, officers stopped a male on Calderon Road who was smoking a cannabis joint.
He was searched, issued with a Community Resolution, and given strong advice.

Officers also visited a vulnerable resident on the Avenue Estate, with concerns the address may be targeted for cuckooing.
Crime prevention advice was given and a follow‑up visit will be arranged to ensure the resident’s safety.
