Hi Resident, I am Mike and I am a volunteer with Cheshire Neighbourhood Watch Association (CNWA) and I assist with looking after the administration of the schemes. You are shown as being ‘signed up’ to receive the Cheshire Police Alert messages which use the Neighbourhood Watch structure for delivery. You are shown as living within a Neighbourhood Watch scheme - Wtn - Chalfont Close NWS. The scheme has been in existence for a number of years and the coordinator - Sally Ingle @ 39 is looking at a ‘refresh’ for existing members and to encourage new members to join. So what are the benefits of being a member of a NW scheme? Crime Prevention: Neighbourhood Watch schemes have been shown to reduce local crime rates, particularly burglaries, anti-social behaviour, and vandalism. Stronger Community Ties: The scheme fosters a sense of community and trust among residents, creating a support network that is invaluable in both emergency and everyday situations. Real-time Information and Alerts: Members receive updates on local crime trends and suspicious activities through various communication channels, keeping them informed and vigilant. Peace of Mind: Knowing that you are part of a community that actively monitors and protects its members provides a sense of reassurance and control over one's home and family. So how do I join? Click on the Reply button at the bottom of the message and I can add you to the scheme. This will also notify Sally that you have joined the scheme.Contact Sally direct - mailto:chalfontclosehomewatch@gmail.comAnd finally - are your details on the system still correct? Whilst many members have been on the system for numerous years, many have also never logged into their account or its been a long time since its been done. Just log into your account and please check - https://members.ourwatchmember.org.uk/login
