Today your local policing team stopped a moped rider using a public footpath. Checks revealed the rider had no valid insurance and was using the vehicle for business purposes. The moped has been seized and recovered, and the rider has been processed for offences and arrested for immigration matters.
Over the past few days, we’ve also issued multiple Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) warnings, Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and Community Protection Notices (CPNs). These actions target behaviour that is: ✔️ Having a detrimental effect on the community
We’re taking a firm stance on ASB, as it often leads to more serious offending. Thank you to everyone who continues to report concerns and support our efforts to keep the area safe.
