🚫 Curb Parkers in Kegworth

One of our #ValleyBeat priorities is tackling parking‑related issues on Station Road and the surrounding streets in Kegworth.

We began with an educate-first approach, spending considerable time advising drivers not to block footpaths and to park responsibly.

Unfortunately, this approach has not been effective — so we are now moving to enforcement.

📸 This vehicle received a Fixed Penalty Notice today for obstructing the footpath.

Remember:
👉 You must leave enough space for a double buggy (or similar sized mobility aid) to pass comfortably.
Failing to do so is classed as obstruction, which may result in a fine.

Before you park, please ask yourself:
If you or a loved one had to step into oncoming traffic because of a badly parked vehicle, how would that make you feel?
