Patrols outside Wisbech school following parking concerns

Dear Resident,

You said: parking around schools in Wisbech is a concern

We did: dedicated patrols outside Nene and Ramnoth school at pick up time

During these patrols, we took the time to talk to families and staff about the importance of parking safely, especially around the schools.

Words of advice were given to drivers who had parked in an obstructive manner, including:

🚗On double yellow lines

🚗Blocking junctions

All of this obstructs the traffic flow and makes the roads even more dangerous for pedestrians.

When dropping off or collecting your child from school, it is important to abide by the markings, which prohibits parking between 8.30am-9.30am, and 2.45pm-3.45pm Monday to Friday.
