Dorset Police are currently looking for a male (KEVIN GILL) who has been reported as missing. We are keen to locate him to ascertain that he is safe and well. A media release has been put out today 04/02 and we have been informed that on 30 Jan into 1 Feb Kevin stayed in a Poole hotel but checked out. We have information that he stayed in a Bournemouth hotel last night paying for just 1 night. It is strongly anticipated that he will attend another hotel. He might be paying in cash as this appears to have been what he did recently. The media release has been put out on Dorset Police’s website and also Bournemouth Echo where his photo is shown. The release says: Officers are appealing for help and information from the public to find a missing man in Swanage. Kevin, aged 42, was reported missing having last been seen in the area of Vivian Park at approximately 11.30pm on Sunday 1 February 2026. He is described as five feet four inches tall and of stocky build with short mousy brown hair and a tribal tattoo on one of his arms. It is not known what Kevin is wearing. Detective Sergeant Emma Swann, of the Missing Person Support Team, said: “We are growing concerned for Kevin’s welfare and are exploring all lines of enquiry in efforts to locate him. “I would urge anyone who has seen Kevin, or a man matching the description given, to please come forward.” Anyone with information or knowledge as to Kevin’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 999, quoting occurrence number 55260015483.
