Officers of Marylebone and Hyde Park wards conducted a targeted operation in Baker Street focusing on cyclists and e-bike riders who passed through red traffic lights. Officers successfully stopped cyclists who failed to comply with traffic signals and issued Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where appropriate. The operation was conducted successfully and achieved its objective of promoting compliance with traffic regulations and improving road safety.
The aim of the operation was to improve road safety by targeting cyclists and e-bike riders who failed to comply with red traffic signals, and to reduce the risk of collisions involving pedestrians and other road users.
