Three high risk missing person searches

Over the past three days, Malvern officers have been involved in three high risk Missing person searches.

All three incidents were in rural areas and involved elderly people with dementia. 

The searches drew resources from a number of different departments including C and D shift response officers, Malvern Safer Neighbourhood team, Ledbury Response, dog handlers, specialist search trained officers and assistance from Fire and Rescue.

With the weather conditions over the past few days and the terrain in the areas searched, it has meant that it was no easy task carrying out a systematic search of the areas.

Fortunately, on all three occasions the missing person has been found and taken to a place of safety.
