I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On Monday 02/02/2026, NPT Officers from the Woodford Police Hub, assisted Thames Valley Police with an arrest enquiry , for crimes committed in their Force area.

Officers arrested 1 Male for VAWG related offence(s) and transported him to Police Custody.

NPT is committed to curb any crime related activity and shall continue to tackle VAWG related crime robustly.
