GANSTEAD: Man Charged following vehicle stop

A man has been charged after officers from our Roads Policing Team carried out a routine vehicle stop on Ganstead Lane, Ganstead, yesterday (Monday, 2 February 2026).

Jonathon Mark Saville, 36-years-old of Sands Lane, Barmston has been charged with driving whilst disqualified and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

He has been released on conditional bail until his appearance at Hull Magistrates Court at a later date.

It is reported that officers from our Roads Policing Team conducted a routine stop. Following the stop and subsequent enquiries, the driver was found to be driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.
