Bedfordshire Police is hosting a dedicated cyber security event to help local people and businesses better understand how to protect themselves from online crime. The event will take place at the Rufus Centre in Flitwick on Wednesday 4 March, running from 8.30am to 4pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive cyber escape room challenge, speak directly with cyber security specialists, and learn practical steps to keep their businesses and personal information safe from cyber threats. The immersive escape room activity will give participants hands‑on experience in identifying and managing common cyber risks, while expert-led discussions will offer guidance on prevention, resilience, and responding to incidents. Veridiana Granger, Cyber Security Advisor for Bedfordshire Police, said: “Cybercrime continues to evolve, affecting individuals and businesses of all sizes. This event gives individuals and businesses the chance to build confidence in spotting cyber risks and protecting the information that matters most. “By learning these skills in a practical, engaging way, we can all play a role in strengthening our collective security.” The event is open to local residents, businesses, and community groups who want to improve their cyber awareness and gain practical tools for staying safe online.
