Update.

Yesterday 2nd February 2026, we have interviewed one youth in relation to 2 separate criminal offences.

Racially Aggravated Public Order in Barnoldswick

Criminal Damage to one of the busses. 

Following the interview, the youth has been referred to the Youth Offending Team,  for a decision to be made on how this should progress. 

Hopefully this, along with the other work that has been done with the youths who were intent on causing issues, will serve as a warning to others; that anti-social behaviour and criminal offences arising from this, will not be tolerated in West Craven.

We have various other investigations ongoing in relation to other people who have been committing offences in the area. These people will be interviewed and will be dealt with accordingly.
