Further update and appeal - stolen Volvo SUV - 29-01-2026

Dear Resident,

Following an excellent response from residents with CCTV in relation to the theft of a dark Volvo SUV from St Georges Drive on 29th January 2026 at 0305hrs approx, residents are asked please to see whether further information can be provided as follows:

Background:

At 0312hrs, the stolen vehicle emerges from Greenacres Avenue at the junction with the Breakspear Rd Sth sliproad.  It turns into that sliproad and then out onto the main Breakspear Rd Sth, whereupon we believe that it then enters the northernmost sliproad at 0316hrs approx, and from there we see it turn right into Copthall Rd West.

Action required please:

Residents with CCTV in receipt of this local message are asked please to assist with any information as to where it goes next - does it stop, meet with another vehicle, travel in convoy with another vehicle, stop to change the number plates, or for e.g. a passenger to alight.

The time window for this is not huge - so we would be grateful please if residents could now check between 0310hrs and 0330hrs on 29th January 2026 for any movements of vehicles or pedestrian traffic in your road.  The males, if on foot, would have dark clothing and rucsacs.
