Warning of vehicle and burglary crimes

There has been an increase of vehicle crime in January.  Please ensure your vehicle is locked secure and your keys are put in a faraday pouch (including the spare keys).

There have been burglaries (and attempted) which could be for the vehicle keys to steal the vehicle. Ensure your property is locked secure at night and it would be a good idea to set the house alarm when going to bed. One burglary that was committed, the suspects stole the vicitm’s car after taking the car keys. There may be a link whereby the the suspects are damaging the lock mechanisum to doors to enter the properties.  There was a mention of a grey vehicle used by the suspects at one of the attempted burglarys.
