Hackney Central and Hackney Downs SNT work return for week ending 01/02/2026

Dear Hackney Downs and Hackney Central Residents 

Officers have recently taken a number of enforcement and safeguarding actions in response to ongoing anti-social behaviour concerns in the area.

These actions include:

an arrest on suspicion of failing to attend a required drug test;

an arrest on suspicion of possession of a bladed article;

the issue of a Community Protection Warning;

the issuing of two Anti-Social Behaviour warnings;

one Community Resolution; and

the successful implementation of a three-month Closure Order at an address linked to persistent anti-social behaviour.

These actions form part of ongoing work with partner agencies to address behaviour causing harm or distress to the community and to prevent further incidents.

Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns via 101 for none emergency and 999 for emergencies, this is so that issues can be appropriately recorded and addressed.
