Resident
Good evening. We would like to wish all the residents of pleck neighbourhood a safe and happy week.
Officers have been very busy this week with plenty of commitments to keep up with. We have been focusing on our priority hot spots this week which included patrols to Wallows lane, Jessel Road, Hollyhedge lane and Bescot road.
This week we have conducted several stop searches with plenty of positive results including seizing drugs from several people and putting in place educational training for those found with drugs.
We have also arrested a male this week for criminal damage to public property. This male has since attended court.
We attended a hot spot location and located a vehicle which was abandoned and unlocked, the vehicle had false plates on and we are querying if this is stolen or on cloned plates. People were located close to this location and stopped and searched. The vehicle was seized.
We have attended community events this week. This week we have visited schools to educate children on the role of a police officer and who to contact when they need help. We have also attended a coffee morning at Pleck Methodist church giving people a chance to speak with us and raise concerns. Throughout the week we also went to Reedswood sons of rest to engage with the community and lastly attended Pleck youth centre to engage with the younger members of the community.
EVENTS COMING UP: On the 7th of February at 11:00am PCSO FISHER will be doing a police surgery at the location. This gives the community the opportunity to speak with officers. Come and say hello.
