The Delves neighbourhood team have been out and about all over Chuckery, Parkhall, Delves and Palfrey during the week. Several stop searches have been conducted and cannabis has been seized as a result. A male was arrested for committing criminal damage. A vehicle was seized for no insurance. Another vehicle was seized as it was on cloned plates. Acquisitive crime remains low for our area and a massive thank you to everyone for your help and support in helping to ensure crime remains low in our communities. We have had two burglary dwellings during the week. An empty property got broken into in Chuckery. We had a Burglary in Lake avenue, Parkhall. The elderly occupants were in when 3 offenders gained entry from the rear of the property. Once in the property they made a search of the property demanding Gold and Jewellery from the residents. Thankfully the residents are ok but very shook up as you can imagine. Enquires are ongoing and investigation/FSI have been conducted. Local officers from the neighbourhood team have also visited and spoke to the residents and family members. Enquires ongoing.
Officers attended Parkhall Junior Cchool to give police inputs to year 5 students Officers attended a Cuppa with a Coppa event at NASHDOM Community hub, Palfrey on Wednesday.
