MAN JAILED FOR DRUG OFFENCES IN CANNOCK

This man has been jailed for drug offences after officers carried out a stop-and-search in Cannock last year.

Mohammed Omar Raysat, aged 36, of Great Wyrley, appeared at Stafford Crown Court on Tuesday (27 January) where he was jailed for five years and seven months after admitting being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, heroin and crack cocaine; driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

He was stopped by officers in November last year while driving a black Seat Leon on Cannock Road in Chadsmoor.

Raysat was found with heroin and crack cocaine, cash and a burner phone...
