Dear residents,
Please find crime data update for January 2026- I want to share and celebrate that last month was another generally positive low crime month across the wards which could not of been achieved without all the work of you the community, our partners and the local policing team do on a daily basis.
Crime Headlines: There were twenty-five reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Ward for January 2026. On 1st January 2026 a door handle to a property was tried on MOORLAND DRIVE, NEW WALTHAM. The suspect was disturbed and fled. On 9th January 2026 a pedal cycle as stolen from GREENGABLES, NEW WALTHAM. On 27th January 2026 there was a number of vehicles who had their door handles tried. Two vehicles were entered and items stolen from them on the CHERRY LANE / ALDER AVENUE area of HUMBERSTON. Our priorities moving forward in January/February 2026 period will be focusing on Anti-Social Behaviour and Inquisitive Crime. Crime: ASB:
