Good Evening all, Just another recap from the team… Wednesfield and Heath town police crime updates …. Recent crime updates and policing activity for and (as of February 2026) focus on tackling anti-social behaviour and retail crime. Current Policing Priorities The Wednesfield and Heath Town Neighbourhood Team has identified three primary areas of focus for early 2026: : Targeted patrols to deter large groups causing anti-social behaviour (ASB) and shop theft, particularly during weekends. Crossways Shopping Centre & Heath Town Blocks : Joint high-visibility patrols with council ASB teams to address persistent nuisance. Officers have recently served Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and Notices (CPNs) to identified offenders. Off-Road Bike Nuisance: Increased patrols and Multi-Agency Road Safety Operations (MARSO) are active in Wednesfield North and South to seize illegal bikes and report dangerous drivers. Recent Local Activity & Arrests High-Value Theft Seizures: On 23 January, officers seized two heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) suspected of being used for high-value thefts following intelligence-led operations. Drug & Order Breaches: Recent arrests in Wednesfield include two males for breaching community orders, with one additionally charged for Possession with Intent to Supply Class A drugs. Retail Crime: A male was recently arrested at for outstanding shop theft warrants after being spotted by PCSOs. Road Safety: Multiple vehicles have been seized in the area for being SORN (off-road notification) or lacking valid insurance.
