Parking Concerns in London Colney |
||
|
We’ve recently received several reports of obstructive parking in London Colney. In many cases, officers have found that the vehicles were parked legally on the road. We understand that residents may prefer not to have cars parked near their homes. However, if a vehicle is not causing an obstruction and not parked dangerously, the driver is legally entitled to park there. We work closely with St Albans City and District Council’s parking enforcement team, who can issue penalty charge notices for offences such as parking on double yellow lines, zig‑zag lines, or other clear restrictions. We kindly ask all motorists to be considerate—please leave enough space around driveways so residents can access their homes safely, and so emergency services and police can do their job effectively. If you have concerns about illegal parking, please contact: Thank you for helping us keep our communities safe and moving. | ||
